Meet your chauffeur at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB). Short transfer to the coastal town of Negombo to shake off the flight — optional lagoon boat ride, fish-market walk or sunset on the beach. Overnight in Negombo.

Drive inland through rural Sri Lanka toward the Cultural Triangle. Optional stops at a spice garden and Dambulla's giant Buddha. Arrive in Sigiriya by afternoon; sunset from a nearby viewpoint. Overnight in Sigiriya.

Early climb up Sigiriya Rock Fortress (5th-century royal citadel, UNESCO) beating both heat and crowds. Afternoon at leisure — options include the Dambulla Cave Temple, a village lunch with bullock cart and catamaran ride, or nearby Pidurangala Rock. Overnight in Sigiriya.

Scenic drive via Matale to Kandy, Sri Lanka's hill-country cultural capital. Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and attend the evening puja ceremony. Optional Kandyan cultural dance show. Overnight in Kandy.

Climb into the tea country. Stops at a working tea factory and plantation, Ramboda or Devon waterfalls, and the colonial hill station of Nuwara Eliya ("Little England"). Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Optional world-famous scenic train ride from Nanu Oya to Ella through the tea hills — your chauffeur meets you at the other end with luggage. Afternoon hike to the Nine Arch Bridge and Little Adam's Peak viewpoint. Overnight in Ella.

Descend from the hills toward Sri Lanka's dry southeast. Optional stop at Ravana Falls and Buduruwagala rock-cut Buddhas. Arrive in the Yala / Tissamaharama safari region by afternoon. Overnight near the park.

Early-morning jeep safari in Yala National Park — leopards, elephants, sloth bears and hundreds of bird species. Afternoon drive west along the coast to the surf-and-whale town of Mirissa. Overnight in Mirissa.

Optional early blue-whale watching boat trip (seasonal: Nov–Apr). Explore Galle Fort — the UNESCO-listed Dutch-colonial old town with ramparts, boutiques and ocean views. Optional Bentota river safari or beach afternoon. Overnight on the south coast.

Coastal drive back toward Colombo. Optional city stop at Gangaramaya Temple, Independence Square or shopping. Final airport drop timed to your outbound flight.
